Attracting Kazakh and foreign investors for further development of the logistics and industrial zone of the project were discussed at a meeting held by the president of “NC “KTZ” JSC Askar Mamin with the project participants.

Mamin stressed out that the heads of the states of Kazakhstan and China attach great importance to the development of this project. As is known, within the framework of the recent visit of the head of state to the PRC, an agreement was signed with the Jiangsu Province on investing $ 600 million in the development of the logistic and industrial zones of the FEZ.

Currently, negotiations have been held with more than 50 Kazakhstan and foreign companies, conditions and opportunities for cooperation have been determined.

In particular, such logistics companies as DHL, HP, DB Schenker are ready to participate in the development of the FEZ, which is built according to the standards and technologies of the world-wide terminal operator DP World.

Noting the importance of the implementation of the project of the FEZ “Khorgos – Eastern Gate” for the entire Eurasian continent, A. Mamin said that “at present we have built all necessary infrastructure and created conditions for active work of investors. Now they must come to this base and conduct their activities.”
