Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the head of the Ministry for Investments and Development Zhenis Kasymbek. During the meeting, the minister informed the President about key issues in the implementation of the state programs “Nurly Zhol” and industrial and innovative development of the country, Akorda reports.

As Kasymbek noted, by the end of this year, about 800 km of the new roadway is planned to be put into operation. Until 2020, the construction of roads with a length of 7000 km will be completed, including in the directions of Astana – Almaty, Astana – Ust-Kamenogorsk, Astana – Aktau.
