Construction of the highway Almaty-Kapshagai category A1, as a strategically important development of the transport infrastructure in Kazakhstan started in August 2014.
To date, from 45 to 53 km of the site, all excavation works in the volume of 150 000 m3 have been carried out on the left side, with the concrete surfacing of 8 km of the site.
On September 21, the SA Construction Group Company commissioned 8 km of the section on the left side of the road.
On the right side, excavations began in August 2015 on a 4-kilometer section of the road. Until the end of 2015, the SA Construction Group Company plans to finish all work on the installation of pavement, including concrete surfacing.
The final delivery of the road is scheduled for the first half of 2016.
